A market trend for large format tiles, started some years ago by a number of leading Italian and Spanish ceramic companies, has been consistently followed by tile manufacturers all over the world. The technological constraints imposed by tiles sizes of 120x120cm or 60x120cm have challenged all production processes resulting in important innovations in all machinery involved in manufacturing, sorting and packing large format tiles.

With it’s continuous investment in research and development and in order to maintain it’s technological leadership, Nuova Fima has developed two new products. Responding to the growing number of requests from increasingly demanding customers, Nuova Fima is pleased to announce the Genusis 120² and CPK T 120².

Based on the successful technology of the Synthesis, a sorting machine that now boasts over 700 installations worldwide, Genusis 120² (pictured above) offers all the advantages of Synthesis together with Nuova Fima’s extensive experience in sorting machine technology. With totally automatic size changing, double stack sorting and the latest generation of management logic, Genusis is a sorting machine that can meet the needs of the most demanding customers, working with 3 or 5 quality groups of 120x120 cm tiles.

CPK T 120² (pictured below) is a completely new generation of packing machine that allows the packing of large format tiles, up to 120x120cm, with tray packaging technology.

These two new solutions from Nuova Fima allow the sorting and packing of tiles from 30x30cm to 120x120cm, with operative speeds, accuracy and reliability levels still to be beaten.
