Flawmaster wins another challenge
July 2007
Two German tile producers have chosen to purchase further Flawmaster 4G (pictured above) automatic tile inspection systems.
Following thorough competitive trials, Deutsche Steinzeug Cremer & Breuer has chosen Surface Inspection to be the preferred supplier of automatic tile inspection systems. Flawmaster 4G systems will replace the existing Flawmaster inspection systems which have given long and trouble free service. The first two Flawmaster 4G systems of the contract have just been delivered, ready for installation during the summer closure. They will be inspecting floor and wall tiles that include a broad range of complex shades and decoration. As well as using the Flawmaster, Deutsche Steinzeug Cremer & Breuer is also a user of the Processmaster (pictured below) for inspecting tiles before the firing stage. The savings made from identifying defects before the kiln provide a rapid payback and also save fuel by not firing defective products.
Deutsche Steinzeug Cremer & Breuer stated, “The main reasons we chose to continue working with Surface Inspection are a combination of the very high ease of operation and very good sorting results. Our workers in the factories know the Flawmaster very well and appreciate the progress in ease of operation.” Engers Keramik recently ordered the Flawmaster 4G to replace their existing Flawmaster 2000 which had also given them excellent trouble free service over the last 10 years. The new Flawmaster was installed in record time and is already operational. |
